1.) She doesn't like the "Dewey decimal system" because its something new. He can't use his old learning techniques because his teacher thinks it wrong. She didn't like that she had to stay in school for 12 years of boredom.
2.) If Scout touches the tree by the Radley place "she'll get killed." They should't even touch the house either. They think its poison if you eat from the Radley's front porch.
3.) Boo's story is really interesting because it has to do with violence and who wouldn't. They made a game of it because his life is almost fictionist so I guess that would be fun. Since Boo Radley isn't there any more they cold make as much fun of him as they want.
4.) They reenact Boo's trouble with the law and his home. They do a really good job of knowing what happened to Boo Radley. I think it is an accurate version of what happened.
5.) I have no clue why there was laughter in the Radley's house because all it said was "then there came laughter from the house." I would assume it was because Scout was thrown out of the tire and onto the Radley's front porch.

1) Scout was having a hard time learning how the Dewy Decimal System worked. Her teacher didn't like the way she was taught.

2)The children think that the Rdley house is haunted. They shouldn't even be near the house.

3)I think they make Boo's story into a game is because his life is sort of like a story with a bunch of stories made up around him around the town.

4)They play the game of making fun of Boo's actions about the law and what happend. I personally think that they did play the game like the actually happenings of the real thing.

5)Im not really sure why there was laughter. This may be due to Scout being throw out of a tire onto the porch.

1) Scout loathes the dewey decimal sytem becuase its hard to learn for poor little scout. Her teacher Miss Caroline isnt makeing it easyer for her either because Miss Caroline dosent like the way scout was taught Academicly.

2) For these children the Radily House is a hanted house with killer tree and a poisonous porch if you eat sitting down on the porch your posioned and if you touch the tree you die. As the children told Scout.

3)The kids reanact it because the story of Boo Radileyis almost fictional kids sort of look up to the story. EX.. like when you were five years old and you played batman and robin you got 5 of you friends and got each of them into charaters and played.

4) I think that the reanactment of the BOO-Radily could be untrue some times you can get innacurate information and over exagreration especially from bunch of 8-12 year old kids.

5) The laughter might of come from a creaky step i really dont know.

1. What does Scout think of current fashions in education?
She doesn't like the way her teacher is acting because, she is getting mad when Calpurnia and Atticus are teaching her different ways. Also she doesn't like the "dewey decimal system.
2. What superstitions do the children have in connection with the Radley house?
They think Boo Radley is a very bad man. That kills people and only comes out at night. Also that eats squriels and cats.
3. Why do the children make Boo's story into a game?
They makes Boo's story into a game because Jem wants to show them that he isnt afraid of the Radley's house. Or of the Radley's at all.
4. What do they do in this game? Do you think the game is an accurate version of what happens in the Radleys' home?
They all play parts of the Radley's family. And act out what they think is happening in their house. Yes and No. They do some parts that are accurate as in when he only comes out at night and that he only stays in the house. But they also say he ate his moms finger, that doesnt really happen or how he stabbs the father i don't think that actually happens.
5. What might be the cause of the laughter from inside the house?
I think the cause of the laughter is from Boo watching the children playing the game with the tire. When Scout falls in their yard thats why he laughs.

2. They think someone is hiding in the Radley tree and they think it’s very strange.
3. Because they are bored of making up all the stories so they want to try something new.
4.They play the exact same thing that actually happened to the Radleys. I think it is very accurate to what happened to the Radleys.
5.I think its maybe because of when scout crashed with the tire

1.she dose not like the "dewey decimal system". she thinks that she has been cheated out of something.
2. If scout touches or eats out of the tree she will die.

Mrs.Caroline dosnt like how the father tought scout.

2)The radley house house is haunted that if you touch the tree her friends told scout that she would die and that if she ate onthe porch she would get poisoin.

3)The reason why the kids recreatethe story is because the story is sort of fictional. They look up to the story like beliving.

4)I think The story that the children told is fictional because kids over exagerate.

5)The laughter in the radley house could have been anything.

1.)She didnt like the Dewey Decimal System because she was being cheated out of something and her teacher Miss.Caroline didn't teach it well to her.
2.)The children think Radleys house is haunted, and scout thinks if u touch the tree she'll die.
3.)They make Boo's story a game because they show that he isnt afraid of Radley's house.
4.)In the game they reenact boo's actions and the game is not accurate because supposably when they stabs the father I dont think thats true.
5.)I think the laughter in the house was when scout ran over the tire.

1. Scout is not very fond of the "dewy decimal system", I think she is only rejecting it because it its new. Scout was taught to learn and write in a different manner and so her teacher ,Miss Caroline, doesn’t like it.

2. The kids think the house is haunted and shouldn't get near it. They predict that if u tough the tree u will die. Another thing is if they eat at the Radley porch then they will be poisoned.

3. They make the story into a game because they find the story to be very interesting. Jem also started to make it funny to show she wasn’t scared of it.

4. In this game they re-enact all of boo radleys life, or what they think it to be. They cat out his life at home and when he got in trouble with the law. To me it seems as if the story was something along those lines but maybe the kids aren't that accurate.

5. The cause of the laughter might be boo laughing at scout from falling off the tire and onto the porch. I’m just assuming I really don’t know.

3.The children make Boo's story into a game because they are really interesting stories to say.

4.i dont know.

5.I think the cause of the laughter is when scout crash with the tire and landed on the front porch of Radley's house.

1) Scout isnt used to the way the teacher teaches. which Scout isnt very fond of the Dewey Decimal System.

2) They believe that Boo Radley is kind of like the Boogey man. They think its weird that he never comes out, which makes him more suspicious...

3) They think its a good way to make a joke about something that is serious.

4) In the game, they play around from the story and the rumors they hear. Kind of like him getting in trouble and staying home. I think the way they play is close to what happend.

5) The cause of laughter could be from watching the kids play. They were being watched. SCARY!

3.They thought it was fun to make a game out of his life because his life seemed so fake and outragous.
4.In this game they act out his troubles with the law and the troubles he had at home. I think they did a pretty good job of playing the game like his life, but some of it might not be real.
5.I think the laughter was from Boo watchin the kids play with the tire.

Chapter 4
1.) “What Jem called the Dewey Decimal System was school wide by the end of my first school year.” Scout think that she has no chance to compare it with other teaching techniques. She thought that it didn’t really help her learn. She doesn’t really like it.
2.) “ I ran by the Radly Place ad fast as I could, not stopping until I reached the safety of our front porch.” The superstitions about the Radley house if that if you eat anything that comes form there or touch the house or the fence you might die or something will bad will happen to you. After they start finding thing they change their mind.
3.) “ Jem, you and me can play and Scout can watch if she’s scared.” The Children make Boo’s story into a game because they think that it is interesting. They are also bored of the same games. So they deicide to make up a new game and play out Boo‘s life.
4.) “Jem, naturally, was Boo: he went under the front steps from time to time.” In the game they play out some of the event that they think happened to Boo. Some of the event were stabbing Mr. Radley in the leg with a pair of scissors. I think that some of the event might had of happened but other no.
5.) “Somebody inside the house was laughing.” It might have been the Radly’s laughing at Scout. Or it might have been boo laughing at her because she fell from the tire and he might have thought it was pretty funny.

Chapter 4

1.) On Scout's first day of school she dreads her new uniform and says she hates whereing a dress. As she approached the dinning table Jem points at her and laughs. Atticus tries to cheer her up and she descides to come out.

2.) The kids say that the Radley is haunted by Boo-Radley, the son of Mr.Radley. They say that as a kid "Boo" was a bad and horrible child. They said that he ran with gangs and stabbed his father in the leg with some scisscors.

3.) The kids are so into the story because they think Boo-Radley is still alive and is leaving toys for the kids. They can sort of relate to his story only because he was a kid.

4.) In the novel they recreate the stories and rumors about Boo-Radley. Jem was always playing as Boo. They would not be able know if the rumors were true or not since they were rumors. You never know if a rumor is intirely true.

5.) I would like to assume that it was one of the Radley including Boo, laughing at Scout. When she was in the tire and she rolled into the porch and fell they must of thought it was very funny.

At 6:02 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

2.) If Scout touches the tree by the Radley place she thinks Boo will come out and kill her, or at least stab her like he did his father. They should't even touch the house either. They think its poison if you eat from the Radley's front porch.
3 and 4.) The kids make his story into a game because even though they know it sounds a little fictional, it still feels so real to them when they play it; it makes it seem more believable. In this game they reenact Boo’s life including the scene with scissors. I do not think this is an accurate version of what really happened.
5.)The laughter might have been caused by Boo laughing at Scout. When she was in the tire and she rolled into the porch and fell he must have thought it was very funny. It also probably reminded him of when he was little.
