-Jack called the first assembly

- None of them chose Ralph
3.) On Page 140 the hunters get a new name. What is it?
- Their new names were savages
4.) The group of boys looked at it with affectionate respect. What was it?
-The conch or the white shell

1. Jack took the conch and blew it to call assembly. Ralph thinks Jack shouldn't of done that, its Ralph's job to call with the conch. He told Jack to talk anyway.
2. No one raised their hands, they still want Ralph to be chief, this was very embarrassing to Jack who was trying to prove something and failed.
3. The hunters have turned into a tribe. With Jack as the chief.
4. They Conch recieves affectionate respect. When Jack came bombarding in on the rest of the boys to steal their fire, Ralph was scared Jack would try and steal the Conch.
