2. She is unable to leave her house because her Aunt is afraid that if she leave she will get into trouble, and something bad will happen to her because she is so young and pretty.
3. She plans to either move back to Puerto Rico with the money she has saved up to be with her boyfriend and live a nice life, or she is going to wait for her prince charming to come and take her away to something better.
4. Marin is admired by Esperanza and her friends because she is older, and pretty, and knows a lot of things about boys and make up.
