Style

1. Esperanza uses words like dusty, mold, and damp to describe Earl and his house.
2. Cockroaches live in the dark so these words go well with the theme of darkness.
3.Earl does not live the typical resident of Mango streets ways, he is not married and doesn't have any children, so he is looked at somewhat strangely.
4. The role of setting in this chapter is isolation, and Earl is very much like the setting because he is a hermit and doesn't really talk to his neighbors.

Describe your room. How does your room reflect who you are? My room is covered with fashion ads and editorials, pictures, and a few posters of movies and david bowie, lately my room is been a wreck and it does kind of reflect how I'm feeling and I was actually thinking about that exact thing the other day.

personal response
I guess you could say my room reflects who i am. It's usually where i spend a lot of my time. There are music related things all over like cd's, radio,cd player,posters, t-shirts, and my bass. There is also lots of pictures of freinds and family because they are important to me and because you cant always have a happy time and in pictures the good times are always there. Everything In my room has a memory or a story behind it.

I would say my room is a mixture of Hollywood and Vegas style. It has cards all around the room and classic movie stars. It also describes my music taste and the things I like to collect like dice and classic cars. So VINTAGE, Heck yes!

I would say my room is pretty much between Hollywood and Vegas style. I have classic movie stars and playing cards around the rim of my room. I also have my collections like dice and oldie cars. Oh and I can't forget my lovely band posters and pinup girls! My room describes me so much. Heck Yes!

1.)My room is 12' by12' which means I like to have my space. There's a flat screen tv in it which I spend half of my day watching.
