This chapter once again brings up the idea of making the best of what you have. What lines reinforce this idea?

Cisneros has a poetic style. She incorporates both vivid imagery and spare prose. She uses both to create a picture of the narrator’s world.

Personal Response
Many people turn to nature when they are upset or sad or in need of peace. Esperanza says that you can get drunk on sky. Is there a part of nature that soothes you when you are sad or upset? Is there a part of nature that inspires you?

Personal response
There is no particular part of nature that soothes me.Just being outside away from the thing or person that is upsetting me will make me feel better.

1.What I think that esperanza meant by you can never have so much sky.I think it's that you can never imagen things forever.Or in other words you can ways be dreaming in the clouds.
2.The shorage of mango street is money and to have nice homes or an
youth program for them to be in.And be less consentated in how they live in mango street.
3.The thing that he said and was wise was "God, he said,and made it simple.He is trying to say that god did everything.And we early don't have to do much.Because he sacrificed himself and we staied to live.

1. I sometimes lay and stare at the sky because if u stare long enough it's like you get lost and your imagination just starts going crazy.

Personal Responce:
The beach always soothes me when Im mad or sad. I feel comferted by the sound of the waves crashing on the pier.

Personal Response
A part of nature that makes me feel good is when it rains. Rain makes me feel that all my problems wash away and I can start on a fresh new page. It also makes me want to cuddle. ♠
